Ramadan Fundraiser 2020

Assalaamu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuhu

We pray that, despite the current situation, you are experiencing a renewed sense of Emaan in this blessed month of Ramadan. As you are probably aware, MACA has almost completed its expansion, which will provide 5200 sq. ft. of additional space to the existing 5000 st. ft. space, four large classrooms, a recreational area for youth activities, and more.

In order to complete the project, we received a non-interest bearing loan of $75k that needs to be paid off by the end of Ramadan.  As you are aware Islamic Centers across the country turn to their respective communities for their generous contributions during the blessed month of Ramadan. However, due to COVID-19, many Masajid’s are struggling to survive and are resorting to online platforms to seek support from their constituents. This is in addition to meet our expenses for ongoing Operational and Maintenance Expenses (which includes salaries of our program Directors & Imam, Cleaning, Utilities, Insurance, Security, Repairs, etc.) and Contingency/Emergency Funds.

Remember your reward for your generosity is multiplied even more during this pandemic and in this blessed month of Ramadan. So, do not procrastinate and click on the following link before you regret it once your soul departs this transitory as Allah informs us in Surah al-Munafiqoon:

وَأَنفِقُوا مِن مَّا رَزَقْنَاكُم مِّن قَبْلِ أَن يَأْتِيَ أَحَدَكُمُ الْمَوْتُ فَيَقُولَ رَبِّ لَوْلَا أَخَّرْتَنِي إِلَىٰ أَجَلٍ قَرِيبٍ فَأَصَّدَّقَ وَأَكُن مِّنَ الصَّالِحِينَ

“Give out of what We have provided for you, before death comes to one of you and he says, ‘My Lord, if You would only reprieve me for a little while, I would give in charity and become one of the righteous.’” [63:10]
